A little story for the fandom about the Adventure Time intro
Now, you might have seen this freaky-looking guy in the Candy Kingdom while watching the intro:
Well, that, my friends, is Gingerbread Muto!
Gingerbread Muto is based off of Adam Muto, who used to be a Storyboard Artist for the show but is now a Creative Director.
Adam Muto used to be paired, storyboard-wise, with Rebecca Sugar (described below). He is awesome. He’s also boarded some future scenes, though by how much we don’t know.
In the Fionna and Cake episode, Gingerbread Muto is replaced by Gingerbread Sugar.
Gingerbread Sugar is based off of Rebecca Sugar, who storyboarded with the show until recently. She was the only female storyboarder and worked on both “Fionna and Cake” episodes. She wrote all the memorable songs, and her, Adam and Cole have written some of the most critically acclaimed episodes of the series.
I am speaking in the past tense because Rebecca has left the crew for season 6 and is working on a show called “Steven Universe”.
