"Mortal Folly" was written by Rebecca Sugar and Adam Muto. I don’t need to remind you how that links to it being an emotional bomb.
"Mortal Recoil" was written by Jesse Moynihan and Cole Sanchez. That is why it was so goddamn freaky, yet funny.
"The Lich" was written by Tom Herpich and Skyler Page. This particular duo worked on "Goliad", "Princess Cookie", "BMO Noire" and "The Hard Easy" among others. Now, while "Goliad" and "Princess Cookie" were outstanding episodes, they weren’t necessarily on the same tones of drama as Rebecca and Adam’s episodes, or the Jesse-Tom eps. So, expect light humour among slightly dramatic moments, but not necessarily anything too twisted or dark.
